Carey Lowell is an American actor and former model. Her career began by modeling for prominent fashion designers, such as Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Her acting debut came by appearing in the 1986 film "Dangerously Close..' After that, she was in "Club Pardise" later that same year. The film featured her in her first appearance in the James Bond film 'Licence-to-Kill' (1989). She then played the role again in the video game 007 Legends. She is popular for her TV work, particularly for her character Jamie Ross in American TV drama Law & Order. The series featured her as the main character, and in a secondary part. In the wake of her disillusionment with the industry of film in the mid 2000s, she enrolled at New York University to pursue a documentary filmmaking degree. In 2016, her 3 year divorce of actor Richard Gere was finalized. The life of Lowell has been devoid from controversy since that time.
